Welcome to King University Basketball Camps!

   Camp Director and King University Head Men’s Basketball Coach George Pitts is in his thirteenth season as head coach of the Tornado. During his time as head coach of King University, his teams have won six conference championships, been to the NAIA National Tournament three times, and the D2 NCAA Tournament three times. Before coming to King University, Coach Pitts was a head high school basketball coach in Tennessee for 30 years. During that time, his teams won 7 TSSAA state championships, two state runner-up titles, and three Arby's Classic Championships. His seven state championships are the most won by one coach in TSSAA State Tournament boy's basketball history. His high school record was 820-211 and his King record entering this season was 261-113.

June 3–8, 2019
High School (varsity, jv teams & freshman teams) of all classifications. The 2017 camp included 80 teams from Virginia, Kentucky, North Carolina and Tennessee. King University wishes to provide a summer opportunity for your team to compete against good teams and coaches in order to improve your team.
BOY'S MIDDLE SCHOOL TEAM CAMP:
June 7–8, 2019
All Middle School teams are welcome to this two-day camp in June. King University Basketball wishes to provide a summer opportunity for your team to compete against good teams and coaches in order to improve your team during the week. We want this camp to be the best team camp you experience.
FUNDAMENTALS & SHOOTING CAMP:
June 10-13, 2019
The camp is open to boys ages 7-17. Campers will concentrate on offensive fundamentals including ball handling, dribbling, passing catching, rebounding and use of screens. The proper technique and fundamentals of shooting will also be taught.
KING UNIVERSITY POSITION CAMP:
July 15-18, 2019
The camp is open to boys ages 7-17. Campers are divided up according to the position they want to focus on. Fundamentals geared for each position will be stressed. We will work with players that desire to be point guards, forwards or post players.
