Welcome to King University Basketball Camps!
Camp Director and King University Men’s Basketball Head Coach George Pitts just completed his ninth season as head coach leading the Tornado to a second place finish in Conference Carolinas. King finished with a 24-6 record which gives Pitts a nine year record of 198-81.

Before going to King University, Coach Pitts was a head high school basketball coach in Tennessee for thirty years, compiling a career record of 820 wins and 211 loses. Pitts won seven state championships, two state runner-up titles, and three Arby’s Classic championships. His seven state championships are the most won by one coach in TSSAA State Tournament boys’ basketball history.
GIRLS TEAM CAMP:

The camp is open to all Middle School Teams. Teams may particpate for one day (3 games) or both days (6 games). The Student Center Complex will be the center for our camp. We will also use Kline Gymnasium on the King University Campus along with two local high school gyms. LEARN MORE+
BOYS HIGH SCHOOL TEAM CAMP:
June 1–6, 2015
(Monday – Saturday)
High School (varsity, jv teams & freshman teams) of all classifications. The 2014 camp included 60 teams from Virginia, North Carolina and Tennessee. King University wishes to provide a summer opportunity for your team to compete against good teams and coaches in order to improve your team during the week. BOYS MIDDLE SCHOOL TEAM CAMP:
 
June 5–6, 2015
(Friday – Saturday)
Middle school teams of all classifications. You can bring your team one day OR both. The Student Center Complex will be the center for our camp. We will also use Kline Gymnasium on the King University Campus along with two local high school gyms. All are located within 5-10 minutes of the King University Campus. LEARN MORE+
FUNDAMENTAL & SHOOTING CAMP:
June 8–11, 2015
(Monday – Thursday / 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.) - Pre-registration by June 2, 2015
The camp is open to boys ages 7-17. Campers will concentrate on offensive fundamentals including ball handling, dribbling, passing catching, rebounding and use of screens. The proper technique and fundamentals of shooting will also be taught. LEARN MORE+
POSITION CAMP:
July 13–16, 2015
(Monday – Thursday / 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.) - Pre-registration by July 8, 2015
The camp is open to boys ages 7-17. Campers are divided up according to the position they want to focus on. Fundamentals geared for each position will be stressed. We will work with players that desire to be point guards, forwards or post players. LEARN MORE+
